Lathe operator — Pickett County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe operator in Pickett County, Tennessee. You will work in a textile mill. You will set up and start the machine as per the job card; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches. Requirements: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
