Join our team: we are hiring a stitching operator in Elk County, Pennsylvania. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. Day-to-day duties: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
