EHS coordinator wanted in Marshall County

Now hiring: we are hiring an EHS coordinator in Marshall County, Mississippi. You will be based at a busy construction site. The role involves verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry. Ideal candidate: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot 4+ years on the tools preferred.
