Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Desha County, Arkansas. Day to day you will read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes. Requirements: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
