Gas meter installer — Caswell County

Join our team: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Caswell County, North Carolina. Day to day you will test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections. Requirements: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Six days a week, one day off.
