Now hiring: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Oakland County, Michigan. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day to day you will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
