Tiling assistant — Northampton County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Northampton County, North Carolina. You will work in a tile and sanitaryware showroom. The role involves fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level. You should have: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines 5+ years on the tools preferred.
