Turning centre operator • Clay County, Arkansas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Clay County, Arkansas. The job is in a tool room. Day-to-day duties: • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Part-time with flexible hours.
