Join our team: flatlock machine operator (Maine)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Waldo County, Maine. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. Your main tasks: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality You should have: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory 3+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
