Sewing machine operator • Harrison County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Harrison County, Texas. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. Day-to-day duties: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Performance bonus on top of base pay.
