We are recruiting: we are hiring a bike messenger in Greene County, Illinois. The job is at an e-commerce last-mile depot. Ideal candidate: • Punctual and reliable with polite customer manners • Smartphone with a working data connection for the delivery app On the job you will handle: • Capture proof of delivery with a customer signature or photo on the handset • Wear a helmet and reflective jacket and follow road-safety rules • Update the delivery status (picked up, on the way, delivered) on the app in real time • Handle fragile and perishable items with care while riding • Weave through heavy traffic while keeping to delivery time slots • Collect cash-on-delivery (COD) payments and reconcile the float at shift end At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
