Stitching operator wanted in County Durham

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stitching operator in County Durham, England. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Requirements: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Day-to-day duties: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go 4+ years on the tools preferred.
