Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Day to day you will load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator.
