Semi-automatic welder — Scott County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Scott County, Indiana. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. You will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
