Lift installation engineer — Grant County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Grant County, Indiana. Day to day you will rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Valid driving licence for site call-outs At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
