Argon welding operator — Platte County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Platte County, Missouri. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work The role involves: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer 2+ years on the tools preferred.
