Rebar fixer — Franklin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Franklin County, Iowa. The job is at a rebar fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Rotating shifts.
