Elevator technician — Guilford County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator technician in Guilford County, North Carolina. You will work in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Day-to-day duties: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork Requirements: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
