Gas appliance installer — Newton County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Newton County, Mississippi. You will be based on residential and apartment building sites. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Day to day you will install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints.
