Presser — Kiowa County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a presser in Kiowa County, Kansas. You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings The role involves keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
