Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundworker in Hancock County, Mississippi. The job is on a residential housing site. You should have: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times The role involves carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations.
