Join our team: we are hiring a QC inspector in Ogle County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting What we are looking for: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $250 per day, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
