You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep On the job you will handle: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics Rotating shifts.
