Tower crane operator — Union County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Union County, New Mexico. Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Strong attention to safety and load limits Day-to-day duties: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
