Overlocker operator — Kleberg County

Join our team: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Kleberg County, Texas. You will be based on a ready-made garment production line. Day to day you will set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension. You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits.
