Furnace operator • Gallia County, Ohio

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furnace operator in Gallia County, Ohio. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. The role involves: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
