Port container crane operator — Lyon County

Join our team: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Lyon County, Kansas. You will be based on a busy construction site. The role involves: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Current medical and eyesight certificate At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
