Now hiring: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Harmon County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a shipyard. Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear The role involves secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
