Join our team: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Morgan County, Georgia. You will work in a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges You will check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; write and edit G-code programs at the control; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets.
