D6/D8 dozer operator — Richmond County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Richmond County, New York. You will be based at an open-cast mine. Day to day you will maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid. You should have: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections 6+ years on the tools preferred.
