Furnace operator — Ikwuano

Vacancy available: we are hiring a furnace operator in Ikwuano, Abia State. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry On a typical shift you will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces.
