Crane operator — Jasper County

Join our team: we are hiring a crane operator in Jasper County, Iowa. You will be based in an open-cast mine. Day to day you will grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals. What we are looking for: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Understanding of safe digging near underground services 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
