Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Willing to work shifts and overtime The role involves: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. ₦285,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
