Visual inspection operator — Trimble County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in Trimble County, Kentucky. The job is in an automotive parts factory. Day to day you will compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift. Requirements: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off.
