Rigger — Zavala County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Zavala County, Texas. The role involves tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; read lift plans and method statements before starting; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Part-time with flexible hours. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
