Great opportunity: we are hiring a butcher in Camas County, Idaho. Day-to-day duties: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders What we are looking for: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Part-time with flexible hours.
