Lifting rigger — Sokoto North

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Sokoto North, Sokoto State. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. Your main tasks: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles 1+ years on the tools preferred.
