Final inspection operator — Blackford County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a final inspection operator in Blackford County, Indiana. You should have: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade Day to day you will verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
