Great opportunity: we are hiring a power float operator in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls You should have: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
