Flatlock machine operator — Sagadahoc County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Sagadahoc County, Maine. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line On the job you will handle: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line Rotating shifts. We offer $210 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
