Metal caster — Bacon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a metal caster in Bacon County, Georgia. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. Day to day you will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
