Now hiring: we are hiring a production welder in Kendall County, Illinois. The job is at a busy production line. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes On the job you will handle: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding Six days a week, one day off.
