Vacancy available: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Grundy County, Iowa. The job is at a renovation and extension job. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding On the job you will handle: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
