Solid plasterer wanted in Barbour County

Now hiring: we are hiring a solid plasterer in Barbour County, Alabama. You will be based at a new-build housing development. Your main tasks: • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings Ideal candidate: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents Overtime paid at a premium rate.
