Commis chef — Holmes County

Join our team: we are hiring a commis chef in Holmes County, Ohio. The role involves: • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations Requirements: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
