Hand presser — Madison County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hand presser in Madison County, Missouri. The job is in a busy laundry. On a typical shift you will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number. You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits.
