What we are looking for: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges On the job you will handle: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production Full-time with occasional weekends.
