Mobile crane operator — McDowell County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in McDowell County, West Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block You should have: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Able to read load charts and lifting plans At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
