Tiling assistant — Marengo County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Marengo County, Alabama. You will be based in a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. What we are looking for: • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts On the job you will handle: • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
