Power float operator — Cherry County

Join our team: we are hiring a power float operator in Cherry County, Nebraska. You will be based on a high-rise slab pour. Day to day you will screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer. What we are looking for: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
